About the ACT Conference

The inaugural African Customs and Trade Conference aims to deliberate on effective trade facilitation in Africa and global interconnectivity.
The event themed “borderless trade: effective trade facilitation in the digital age,” will bring together Industry Thought Leaders, including 54 Heads of Revenue Authorities from across Africa, and innovators in Customs and Trade Solutions.
Participants will include government bodies, international organizations, trade experts, technology providers, policymakers, development partners, academia and research organizations for three days of dialogue and collaboration.
Key areas of focus will include streamlining trade processes and leveraging digital advancements to create a secure and dynamic trading environment. The conference aims to simplify and harmonize international trade procedures, which are crucial for facilitating the movement of goods.
